Responsibilities
Kinect Capital is seeking a highly motivated college level marketing intern to join our dynamic team. As a Social Media Intern, you will be pivotal in supporting our social media initiatives and enhancing our visual content. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while contributing to our organization’s growth and success. We ask for at least a 6 month commitment that you will work 3 to 8 hours per week.
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to develop and implement social media strategies across various platforms.
- Assist in creating compelling and engaging social media content, including posts, captions, and hashtags.
- Curate and manage a consistent posting schedule to maximize brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns, contests, and other promotional activities.
- Support the production of captivating visual content, including images and videos, to enhance brand storytelling.
- Edit and enhance existing visual assets to ensure brand consistency and quality.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using relevant tools and provide insights and recommendations to optimize results.
- Stay updated on social media trends, emerging platforms, and industry best practices.
- Create documents and presentations that appeal to the general public.
Requirements:
- Strong passion for social media, digital marketing, and visual content creation.
- Proficiency in popular social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Threads, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with design software (e.g., Canva, Pixlr, Photoshop, etc.).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with video editing tools and techniques.
- Conversational written communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
