Pitch Program

The Deal Forum®

Finding money to fund your venture is hard, really hard. Pitching to investors is an art and a skill. It takes practice and coaching, even if you are a pro. Kinect Capital can match you with a expert mentor team that will work with you for 4-8 weeks to assist you in getting ready to pitch to investors, because that is what we have being doing for 36+ years.

The Deal Forum®, founded in 2005, is a pitch event designed for companies in the seed to series A stage. Kinect Capital hosts 8-12 The Deal Forum® pitch events per year and each features 4-5 startups. Startups selected for the program are mentored for 4-6 weeks leading up to The Deal Forum®. Each startup is provided 10 minutes to present to a panel of angel and venture investors followed by by 20 minutes of Q&A. We wrap up The Deal Forum® with a networking session after all the companies present and receive feedback from the investor panel.

Kinect Capital doesn’t charge startups to go through this program! Our Sponsors cover those costs for you.

Through our Cooperative Venturing® Program, we will help you:

  • Better understand how to make a positive first impression to investors
  • Discover what makes your deal attractive and/or unattractive to investors
  • Increase your fund-raising network
  • Experience investor feedback following the presentations
  • Accelerate your search for capital

Don’t wait to apply, it typically takes a few weeks for our investment committee to review and approve companies for this program. Additionally, startups are required to participate in our mentor program in order to participate. Alternatively, you are welcome to attend the pitch event if you are thinking about raising capital or wondering what an effective investor presentation looks like.
