The beauty of Kinect Capital is our community. We have so many people who want to give back – and their contributions are felt by many people and for a very long time.
This August, we ask for volunteers to support a wonderful program, Kinect WeROC Conference and Golf Tournament, continuing that impact. WeROC is an acronym of Women Entrepreneurs Realizing Opportunities for Capital
Kinect WeROC Conference will be the most meaningful program that Kinect Capital has hosted so far. The purpose of this wonderful event is to connect hard-working, vetted, and ambitious female CEOs with appropriate capital providers
We are asking for volunteers to help with the planning, organization, outreach, and execution of this conference to make a difference to the female CEOs who are participating in this program.

About Kinect WeROC Conference 2023
- Kinect creates a professional exposure of female CEOs who have traction and are ready to fundraise in the following sectors: enterprise software, consumer tech, financial services, healthcare, marketplaces, CPG, life sciences, medical devices, to pro-women funding sources.
- This conference will present 20 female CEOs to various capital providers at the conference.
- Our goal is to have 100 capital providers to attend the pitch day (Sept 5) and create meaningful connections with the CEOs that match their financing options.
- The second day (Sept 6) is about education and networking, where other female and male executives, service providers, mentors, can listen and meet experts to understand the current fundraising landscape for early stage businesses.
- The third day (Sept 7) is a fun golf tournament more geared toward the novice golfer, with intentions that more women are playing golf than men. The format is a foursome, 9-hole scramble format where every hole has either an entrepreneur or a sponsor to interact and meet with.
Volunteer Benefits
We deeply appreciate those who volunteer for the event, and you can volunteer for multiple roles if you are inclined.
If you volunteer to participate during the event, you will get a t-shirt noting that you’re with the program, free ticket to the conference, food, drink, and major kudos from the Kinect team and community.
Some roles that require help before the event can earn a free ticket, other pre-event positions get a significant discount off of their conference ticket.
Volunteers will be trained before commencing, and someone from Kinect will check in on a weekly basis to see how you are doing or if you need help.
We ask our volunteers to track their hours as these are considered in-kind volunteer hours, which we use to analyze the program value and execution.
